Dr. Cátia Carreira is currently a PostDoc at Aarhus University in Denmark. Catia has worked mainly with microbe-microbe interactions (viruses, microalgae, bacteria, and fungi), but also microbe-food interactions (dissolved and particulate matter). She has a Ph.D. in aquatic microbial ecology (the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands) that was followed by a period in Australia, then Portugal, and now Denmark.
